We recently had the misfortune of entrusting a critical shipment to DHL. What followed was a series of delays, miscommunications, and outright incompetence that left me frustrated and disappointed.
The Saga Begins
Our company shipped a package from California containing essential safety equipment for a vital training session in Saudi Arabia. The package was labeled as urgent and required immediate delivery. Six airpacks in separate cases, each with 0 oxygen in the tank (which was shown to the DHL agents before they even took the items). However, DHL seemed to have other priorities.
Not only did the shipment never arrive to the intended destination, but days turned into weeks, and our repeated inquiries were met with vague information and empty reassurances.

The ultimate consequence of DHL's negligence was the disruption of our critical training session. This not only impacted our business operations but also posed a potential risk to the safety of our team. The continued delay in getting our critical equipment back to us continues to affect our ability to conduct safety trainings and is affecting our revenue!
We will tell everyone for as long as we possibly can to NEVER use DHL to ship anything, ever, at any point, for any reason!
We urge you to reconsider using DHL for your shipping needs. Their unreliable service, poor communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction make them an unacceptable choice.
